Features for All FTBV’s: Replaceable Freeze Plug - Pre-installed, Chrome Plated Brass Ball, Teflon Seat, Stainless Steel Nut, Wider Handle, Brass Body with Substantially Thicker Side Walls, 600 WOG Rated.
Freeze Plug will burst during temperatures below 32 degrees F or 0 degrees C; if the valve has water inside and the valve has been shut OFF; and/or If there is not water in the valve but it has not been turned to a 45-degree angle. Plug is easily replaced without having to remove the valve.
Additional freeze plugs sold separately.
All FTBV’s have a Limited Lifetime Warranty not to crack the side of the valve within the Teflon Seals.
This valve is a valid replacement for Febco 1 inch ball valve on model 765-1 PVB or 825Y, where backflow is not Tested per USC Backflow Requirements.

The amended definition of Lead Free is provided and complies with the Safe Drinking Water Act: .20% max lead for solder and flux. 0.25% max lead for products by weighted average. Multiple component products are calculated to address total wetted exposure based upon wetted surface area of each component and that component’s lead content by percentage
